Your birth data never leaves your device

Every calculator on this site (the birth chart calculator, the Vedic calculator, the compatibility calculator, the rising sign and Moon sign calculators) runs its entire calculation inside your own browser, in JavaScript, on your own device. The birth date, time, place, latitude, longitude and time zone you enter are used locally to compute a chart and are never transmitted to this site's server or to any third party, never stored in an account (this site has no accounts), and never written to a database. Closing the browser tab discards the information completely; there is nothing held anywhere afterward to request the deletion of.

Cookies

Google Analytics, described below, sets a small number of cookies used to distinguish one visitor's browser from another between pageviews. This site's own code sets no cookies beyond that. See the cookie policy for the complete, specific statement.

Analytics and tracking

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic: which pages are visited, roughly how many people visit, and what device or browser they used, so the site can be maintained and improved. Google Analytics is used on every page, though for page-speed reasons the script itself is not fetched until you interact with the page or a few seconds have passed, so a visit that ends immediately may never be recorded at all. When it does run it records the pageview, a randomly assigned browser identifier, and standard technical details (browser, device type, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site). It does not receive the birth date, time, place or any other data typed into a calculator; those never leave your browser, as described above and confirmed directly in this site's source code. Google's own handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using a browser or extension that blocks analytics scripts. No advertising pixel and no other third-party tracking script runs on this site.

Server logs

Like effectively every website, the infrastructure that serves these pages to your browser may keep ordinary web-server access logs, the kind that record an IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, and the browser's user-agent string, purely as a byproduct of delivering the page, in the same way a phone exchange logs which numbers connected without recording the conversation. This is standard hosting-level behavior, separate from anything this site's own code does, and does not include any birth data, since that never leaves your browser to reach a server in the first place.

Third parties

This site does not sell or rent any visitor information. The only third party that receives data from this site is Google, through Google Analytics as described above, for the sole purpose of aggregate traffic measurement. No visitor information is shared with any other third party.

Children's privacy

Because no personal data is collected from any visitor, adult or minor, there is no data collected from children to safeguard differently from any other visitor's.

Changes to this policy

If how this site handles data ever changes, this page will be updated and its "last reviewed" date above will change accordingly.
