Natal Calculator respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
How to submit a takedown notice
Send a notice to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Notice." To be considered valid, a notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough specificity to locate it on this site (the exact page URL).
- Contact information for the complaining party: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Counter-notices
If content you posted or believe you have rights to was removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address, including your name, address, phone number, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal court.
What happens after a notice is received
Upon receiving a complete, valid notice, the identified material will be reviewed and, where the notice is valid on its face, removed or disabled promptly. This is a good-faith process for handling copyright complaints, not a substitute for a court's determination of infringement.
